Southern Area Fire and Emergency Rescue (SAFER) is the result of the combination of Yoe Fire Company and Rescue Fire Company No. 1 of Dallastown.

SAFER Provides fire protection and emergency services to the residents of Dallastown Boro, Yoe Boro, Parts of York and Windsor Townships, and surrounding communities.
